Peter Rosen, M.D., Vice Chairman and Director
Peter Rosen is considered
the "godfather" of emergency medicine. He is currently a senior
lecturer at
Harvard Medical School. He is Professor Emeritus of Clinical Medicine
and
Surgery and former Director of Education in the Department of Emergency
Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. He was
Editor-in-Chief of the
Journal of Emergency Medicine, and a consulting editor to Emergindex
Microindex. He is now an editor for the Journal of Internal and
Emergency
Medicine. Dr. Rosen received his medical degree from Washington
University
Medical School. He is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, a
senior
board member and consultant with the American Board of Emergency
Medicine,
and a member of the Institute of Medicine. He served on the National
Research
Council's committee on Science and Technology for Counter Terrorism:
Biological Panel. He also chaired the Institute of Medicine's committee
on
Research and Development Needs for Improved Civilian Medical Response
to
Chemical or Biological Terrorism Incidents.
Richard Wolfe, M.D., Physician Advisor and Director
Dr. Wolfe is chief of the
department of emergency medicine of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians.
In
this role, he directs the emergency department at the Beth Israel
Deaconess
Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as four other
emergency
departments in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He is also an associate
professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wolfe has been
very active
in various committees and editorial boards, including the chair of the
National
Education Committee for ACEP. Dr. Wolfe’s major clinical interests
include
emergency resuscitation with a particular focus on airway management
and
sepsis.
Larry Nathanson, M.D., Physician Advisor and
Founder
Dr. Nathanson is the Director of Emergency Medical Informatics at the
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He led the team that developed
the ED DASHBOARD system, which was implemented in Beth Israel Deaconess
Medical Center’s new Emergency Department in July 2002. Dr. Nathanson
received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, and
trained in Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in
Philadelphia. He has also completed an NIH sponsored Medical
Informatics fellowship at the Center for Clinical Computing, Beth
Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School
Jason Tracy, M.D., Physician Advisor and Founder
Dr. Tracy is the Director of Clinical Operations for the Department of
Emergency Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr.
Tracy received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and
his Medical Doctorate from Boston University prior to completing his
training at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency
program. |
