Foster L. Aborn, Chairman of the Advisory Board

Mr. Aborn serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board. Mr. Aborn is the retired Vice Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of John Hancock Life Insurance Company, where he was responsible for all investment activities and was Head of the Investment and Pension Group. He recently served as Director and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Aborn received his Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and his master's degree from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration.

John Halamka M.D., Advisory Director

Dr. Halamka is Chief Information Officer of Harvard Medical School, Chief Information Officer of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Chairman of the New England Health Electronic Data Interchange Network (NEHEN), Chief Information Officer of the Harvard Clinical Research Institute (HCRI), and an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Robert Fanning, Advisory Director

Over the past 30 years, Robert (Bob) Fanning has held leadership positions in hospitals, most recently as an interim hospital chief executive officer and chief operating officer for troubled hospitals, including St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Centers in New York. Prior to 2000, Bob was instrumental in the development of a four hospital system, Northeast Health System. From 1969 to 1980, Bob held senior executive positions within Massachusetts hospitals, including The Children's Hospital in Boston where he was chief operating officer. Bob has served as chairman of the American College of Health Executives, the Massachusetts Hospital Association and the Massachusetts Health & Educational Facilities Authority. He is also an advisor to private healthcare companies. Bob received a master's in business administration from Xavier University in 1970 and a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1967.

Robert DeVore, Advisory Director

Robert DeVore is the Senior Vice President for Strategy and Special Projects at CRICO/RMF which is the patient safety and medical malpractice company owned by and serving the Harvard medical community. Bob leads RMF strategy which seeks to create partnership between physicians, healthcare systems, and their medical malpractice insurers through comparative analysis of claims data, effective patient safety practices, and a national community of peers. Bob received his Bachelor and Masters degrees from Harvard University. Bob is active in alumni affairs at Phillips Exeter Academy.

Jean-Jacques Degroof, Advisory Director

Mr. Degroof serves on the Forerun Advisory Board, and also assists in the development of international channels and distribution strategies. Mr. Degroof resides in Brussels, and has been an active investor in private companies. He has been engaged in the processes of spinning off new ventures from academic institutions. He received an M.S. and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
