Patient View

Forerun ED Patient View™ is the information and process management "cockpit" that delivers the essential information necessary for rapid and fully informed treatment throughout the patient care cycle. It presents a concise summary of the patient information clinicians need to prioritize their time and efficiently care for patients.

Department View

The Forerun ED Department View™ provides a global summary of the Emergency Department, providing real-time tracking through an intuitive color-coded display. Forerun ED Department View™ can be shown on individual workstations or with obscured patient names on large flat-panel displays.

Any member of the clinical care and hospital executive team can view this screen, in the ED or remotely and instantly understand the state of the emergency department - number of patients waiting to be seen, total wait times, assigned staff, urgent requirements, laboratory and radiology flags, admission requests, etc.

Patient Discharge

The Forerun ED™ generates a complete discharge report package including medication reconciliation, discharge instructions, and medication orders. These documents enhance and expedite the hand-off of patients to the admitting hospital department or to the patient's primary care physician. The patient receives a summary of the visit with clear instructions for his/her continued care at home.

Real Time and Retrospective Reporting

Because Forerun ED™ timestamps every patient and provider event and collects all related clinical data, the system provides clinical and business management personnel with a complete source of information for their analysis and reporting needs. Forerun ED™ captures substantial patient data related to Core Measures and operational statistics allowing for the real time preparation and monitoring of reportable quality measures. Forerun ED™ users will be well prepared for RAC audits and other initiatives by the payor to limit compensation for emergency department treatments.
